You Thought You Were Out and then They Pulled You Back in Again

We had an extremely successful holiday workshop in NYC. Everyone had a great time, it doesn’t get better than that. As we were strolling to Saint Patrick’s Cathedral we ran into a few demonstrators in front of Trump Tower. Under normal circumstances I would be very wordy right about now, but unfortunately I just had an old visit from our old friend Murphy. yeah, Murphy stopped by and fried my iMac so I’m working on JoAnne’s laptop which is a little uncomfortable so I am going to wish you a very merry Christmas, happy New Year, happy Kwanzaa, happy Chanukah. Happy, happy, happy! Live, love, laugh and be happy. Oops! And don’t forget, smile. It’s like the flu- it’s contagious! Did I say that?

To all the ships at sea,

I love the holidays just like anybody else: Christmas, New Years, New Years One, New Years Two, Chinese New Year, Kwanzaa, Diwali… Invariably, I get hundreds of holiday cards. I very rarely get a card that totally turns me on. Mr. Sam Garcia sent this card and I absolutely love it, my partner JoAnne absolutely loves it, and my studio manager absolutely loves it. Okay, enough love – I am going to share his holiday spirit with you. I’m not even going to show you my card this year. Great job Sam!

Merry Christmas?! Wait a minute, it’s not even Thanksgiving!

ImageThe other day I was privileged to have lunch with a very dear friend of mine. Don Sergeant, an extremely bright, creative and dynamic Vietnam war veteran, whose main responsibility in this world is to save lives; a beautiful man. When we finished lunch, I  stopped by The Forge Gallery and said hello to another dear friend, Phil Rachelson. Phil is not only a great artist, he also has the ability of generating great designs in his gallery. He displays the artwork in a way; it’s pleasant to the eye and geometrically sound. It’s a special Christmas show, to all the ships at sea, if you have an opportunity stop by and support the artists and the gallery. Great art at great prices. -Joe D.Image
