Ira Gottlieb

Thank God!  No photos of me… that’s good.  Ira, I had a great time too.

Thanks, Joe D.

Joe,

I want to thank you for hosting a great day in Chinatown. Scoring a press pass and shooting inside the barricades was an incredible experience, and I had a blast.

You said at the start of the day to try to take 3 photos that we would not typically shoot. Here are 3 that I shot today that I have never come close to achieving before now. Thanks for the inspiration and the access.

Regards, Ira

Sandra Flickstein

To all the ships at sea,

I don’t know who said it first, but I believe the quote goes something like this, “I’d rather be lucky then great”… something like that.  Well, last Sunday Chinese New Year, the year of the sheep, ten photographers got very lucky.  Sub-zero weather sky rocketed up to 40 degrees.  My God, a Spring Day!  One of the photographers was Sandra Flickstein, she was with me on a few of the workshops and certainly did a good job at Chinese Year.  Kick back with a cup of coffee…or a glass of wine, and enjoy her photos, I certainly have.

It appears Sandra caught me shooting with two cameras. The new Go Pro and the Canon 5D Mark III  in my right hand.
